Solution | : | After having several brainstorming sessions and review meetings with the client, CM categorized each problem against the expert required to solve those problems. Thus, after categorizing the problems of the client and the user; with a team of in-house Technical and Functional PeopleSoft experts and Graphic Designers, CM came up with a set of designs, reworked on the entire look and feel of the portal, worked on its functionalities and developed three different sets of designs in the form of pagelets, all of this resulting in Zero Customization. |
Result | : | The Result was a 'satisfied and a 'highly involved' user. The users could not only have instant access to all the important links to documents from PS Enterprise and HRMS Portal but also from other non-PS applications within and outside the organization, all of this available on their desktops right from their login. All the multiple-clicks to reach the desired documents now, could be reached just through a single click. An attractive pagelet with result charts were deployed on the user's desktops encouraging them to participate in a number of enterprise-wide feedback exercises, thus growing their interest in using this all new user-friendly system. |

Description | : | This was a unique kind of implementation where a complete business intelligence tool (Hyperion 9.3) was deployed exclusively on HR data. The implementation partner appointed by ABG could not decipher the requirements as they had never undertaken an implementation on an HR system before. The client had loads of expectations from the tool which the implementation partner was unable to understand. The tool was designed to analyze financial data but needed enhancements to be used on HR specific data. Since the client is using the PeopleSoft HRMS system, which has very advanced and complex security architecture, they wanted the Hyperion system to be on par with the PeopleSoft system on security features. |
Solution | : | Being PeopleSoft partners with ABG, the PS experts from CM were aware of the client's expectations and requirements. They went through a series of session with the implementation partner and other experts of the BI tool and went to great lengths to understand the tool Later on the team not only come up a well formulated plan on a complete Requirement Specification but also used a step by step approach on how to implement the same on the BI tool. A customized staging environment was developed on PS system which can be easily managed with PS Application Engines and Processes to be used in the BI tool increasing the performance of the system by many times. The whole security problem was sorted by a single view developed by CM technical consultants |

Now, ICICI Prudential was under the process of having the organization SOX-compliant and wanted to make their PeopleSoft HRMS Application to be at par with industry standards where, Information Security is only a small part of the directives within the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, but SOX has become a large part of information security for the organizations it applies to. Thus, they wanted to get their PeopleSoft application as well to get authenticated from the centrally based Microsoft Active directory. |
Solution | : | CMSS approached ICICI Prudential for PeopleSoft support when I-Pru's managers asked us to come up with a plan to complete this PeopleSoft LDAP Integration. CMSS, having done such integration for a Leading Corporate Czar before, did a detailed requirement analysis and came up with a complete JAVA API which is built to make a two way communication with any LDAP System. The API was so efficiently-built that it can not only get any system authenticated from LDAP but also can automatically update entries in LDAP system from the latest updates from PeopleSoft. We implemented the same in PeopleSoft to get the system authenticated from the Microsoft Active directory. |

Senior Users of process viz. leave application, leave approval had to spend their time in just flitting through the 4-5 screen and finally get to the approval button to approve leave for his/her sub-ordinates. Also employees, while applying for leave, had to click on various buttons (forecasting) and then finally apply for the leave. ICICI Bank’s user were desperately looking for the way to reduce the clicks and cut-short browsing through different to pages just for a single click, in order to save their time. |
