CMSS Unique Ladder Rung Mechanism

Home / Why Us ?/ CMSS Unique Ladder Rung Mechanism

The Ladder Rung Mechanism is a flexible and agile mechanism specifically designed by CMSS consultants based on years of experience and unparalleled expertise. It is exclusively designed to ingest the best practices of the industry in the current organizational environment and streamline them into easily executable actions. The Ladder Rung Mechanism consists of Rungs which follow a sequential pattern. The actions in any particular rung help in smoothly transitioning the project to the following rungs. These rungs, though distinctive, are not mutually exclusive. Once the whole process is accomplished, iterations are carried out to remove any discrepancy in the whole approach. Ladder Rung Mechanism simplifies the Post Implementation process by eliminating unnecessary deviations and utilizing the available resources to the fullest.

Rung 1: Acclimatization, Assimilation and Derivation

In this rung a core team of PeopleSoft experts and subject matter specialists acclimatise themselves with the clients’ PeopleSoft instance and assimilate as much knowledge as available and derive conclusions where there is lack of documentation.

Rung 2: Application of Pareto Principle

The team then finds out 20 % of those issues, enhancements and customization needed result in 80 % of the productivity and the technical team takes over to solve these. This is done to give the users maximum comfort.

Rung 3: Stability Enforcement and increase of system acceptance

The technical team then works on 80 % of the remaining tasks for total satisfaction of users which enforces stability in the system.

Rung 4: User Feedback and Increase of system usage

Once, the systems are stabilized the team then takes feedback about usage and determines those modules and functionalities of PeopleSoft, which are not used to the fullest extent and does a root-cause analysis and works towards increasing the usage of the same.

Rung 5: Process Optimization

The team then conducts an analysis of what could have been improved during the Rung 1 to 4 phase and optimizes its processes to increase efficiency.

Rung 6: Knowledge Bank creation and user/issue pre-emption

The team then creates a knowledge bank of repeated issues (?), requests for change and also maps the part of the year these occur most frequently so that from the next cycle they can pre-empt user requirements and issues.
